Use your iTAG keyfinders in your smart home
Unfortunately, the button is not supported. It seems to be some kind of bug in the Homey Apps SDK, but I’m not sure. In the Homey Developer Tools it works, but when subscribing to notifications about the button from my app it just doesn’t work.
When ringing the tag, it will automatically stop after 10 seconds to prevent it from ringing indefinitely. Pressing the button does not stop the ringing, you can only stop it from the Homey app!
Note that the range of the tags is very limited. Hold the tags next to your Homey during pairing, because often they can’t get discovered if they’re too far away.
Also note that you can only connect 1 device at a time. This means that when Homey is connected, you can no longer use the cTracing/iSearching/kindelf app anymore (unless you are out of range of Homey, then the phone apps will work again)
This app also disables the “LinkLost“ alarm, so they don’t beep when they disconnect.
