So I take from this, that Athom does not have any AI strategy, does not work on anything in that direction and is just (except form the MCP Server) passively leaning back to wait and see what other creative minds come up with…
Certainly isn’t! We are actively exploring how we can use AI in our products. The biggest caveat is that we want to do this in a way where we aren’t dependent on the large AI cloud offerings that are available today. Ideally, we’d like to offer something that can run locally and still be genuinely useful.
At the moment, you still need quite a lot of computing power to run AI models properly offline. We’d rather avoid a situation where we have to charge users a significant monthly subscription just to make it work.
