iOS iPhone 15 Plus Dashboard Screen Unable to Select "Customize"

Hello, recently I am not able to select or initiate “customize” at the bottom of my iPhone screen. Accessibility is off. The menu options work but it’s like a zone between the menu and first dashboard widget/app is view only. Its also gray and I think previously it was blue text.

This issue affects every menu screen. The lowest choice of any screen above the menu is view only. Example: above “more”, appearance can’t be activated.

How can this be corrected?

It’s a bug and I have reported it last week. I hope they’ll correct it soon since it’s a real bother

Thank you. Couldn’t find anything in my search. It is very annoying. I was so excited with trying some of the possible Fahrenheit temperature corrections as well. Appreciate the response.

There is an alternate way to get edit action to your Home Screen. Select your avatar at the top of your iPhone screen. Select Edit Homescreen. An alternate solution.

Doesn’t work either. The + button doesn’t work

Try again. The “customize” button at bottom of iPhone screen is functional; today. Did not work last night. I am also running the Beta app so maybe that’s a difference for the functionality today.

Unclear what you meant about the “+” button. I think you were looking someplace else.
See the user icon at upper right, click on it, then select “Edit Homescreen”

Does you guys also suffer from that?

I periodically get the same green circle, but not all the time. Thats where I saw that you can access the dashboard customize function by selecting your user icon on upper right of screen, then selecting “Edit Homescreen”. Give that a try

The :white_check_mark: popup appears to be a app <> Homey connection status indicator. It shouldn’t interfere with app functionality.

The cause here probably is:
The (Klaar) button

means: you’re still in “home screen edit mode”;
you’ll have to tap that button first, to have the usual functionality available!

Yes you are right “It shouldn’t interfere with the app”, but it does on my end. So if I put my finger in the red area, I can not scroll the screen. Also when the icons dissapear, still not possible to scroll. My screen freezes. But the workaround works for me, so that’s nice :wink:

I’ve got issues in this area (bottom of the screen) to push any button, not only on the homescreen. Seems to be since 9.0.4 in the android app. Even if there is nothing to see, that is overlaying.
