[APP] Tuya - Smart Life. Smart Living

English, plz

I created a virtual Tuya plug according to the ‘manual’ and added it to Flow using the timeline and restart app as described above.
Is it correct that an ‘error’ is returned when you hover the mouse over these lines?

Yes

You mentioned a manual, could you tell me where you found it?

.

I hope there is final solution soon, having so much trouble with Tuya.

It works like 50% of the time.

And then? How to use the virtual switch? Do we have to make a new Tuya device? How does it solve the problem of the nom-responding devices in relation to restarting the Tuya app?

Like this:

Every 15 Minutes → Virtual switch: toggle and then connect the Error line to the Restart app Tuya

This QR has expired. Where can I find a new one?

Thanks! Will give it a try. Only works with advanced flows, because you have to act on an error.

You can just pick any random switch device from Smart Electrical Supplies | Expo Powered by Tuya, most of them have an “Online Control Panel” QR code

Testing every 45 mins. Winter is coming… hope I won’t need a defibrillator.

Anyone doing any better? Please share your experience

Ik heb ontzettend veel problemen met Tuya.

Elke keer na een x aantal minuten zijn de Tuya apparaten niet meer bedienbaar met Homey. De app resetten is het enige wat dan nog werkt.

Zeer irritant. Zijn hier oplossingen voor?

I have a lot of problems with Tuya.

Every time after an x few minutes, the Tuya devices are no longer operable with Homey. Resetting the app is the only thing that still works.

Very annoying. Are there solutions for this?

I use this workaround: I solved the problem by creating a flow that tests whether a dedicated Tuya plug is working. The test runs every hour. If the plug works, nothing happens. If the plug does not work, a new flow is triggered to reset the Tuya app. I use three flows to do this, though it could likely be done with fewer. Flow 1 turns on the Tuya plug. Flow 2 checks if it turned on; if it is on, it turns it off and nothing further happens. If it is off, Flow 3 starts and resets the Tuya app.

Since 12:00 PM today, I’ve been using the workaround that others here are also using: a flow that turns the virtual plug on or off every 15 minutes and, if it doesn’t respond, restarts the Tuya app.

Just to be safe, I’ve also set up a notification whenever everything is working correctly. Strangely enough, everything has been working consistently well so far, and the virtual plug has been responding as expected every time.

Let’s wait and see how it goes overnight, but I’m curious whether others are still experiencing the same issues. Perhaps Tuya has finally made the necessary adjustment to the limit.

Can you share the flow (screenshot)?

Flow 1

Flow 2

Flow 3

Just recently, I switched to the Tuya Local app to avoid this issue. The Tuya Local app states that it also works without an internet connection.

It takes a bit of work to set up, because you first need to create a developer account in order to retrieve all the device IDs and encryption keys.

Just sharing this information in case it’s helpful.

I created one Advanced Flow that basically handles everything needed for this. I’ve noticed that some people create three regular flows, but personally, I would recommend using just one Advanced Flow to keep everything clear and organized.

Update: At 2:31 AM last night, Tuya stopped working and the app was restarted. This is the only restart that has occurred in the past 24 hours.
