[APP][Pro] Widgetkeeper - dashboards in your browser + custom widgets

@ThomasRS Thanks for the great update! Alarm works great, will test it some more.

How can I create a popup that allows clicking yes or no or custom options? I cannot locate settings for this in the flow cards; the popup functions well, but I see no area to customize responses or outcomes. Is this something that must be prepared in the flow editor beforehand?

The Web Page widget does not work for me; I only see a blank widget. I have tried a range of different sites.

Sending a diagnostic in case you need it :slightly_smiling_face:

I have a question.

I have a tablet mounted on the wall with various sliders for lights, curtains, and a media player.
While the sliders work as expected in the native apps, with this app I can only tap—I’m unable to slide. Is that correct?

Have you had a look through Advanced Flows? The flow car for buttons is only available there.

Is it an Android tablet? I have the same issue on one of those. Have reported it to Athom but haven’t heard back on it.

We could so this as a setting. I’m unsure if there’s one way of doing it that would suit everyone.

How is Athom doing it with the native widgets I wonder. Should check that

Yes its a Android Lenovo tablet and i have the same issue on my Samsung phone.

We will wait what Athom has to say, but it will be nice that it works

Yeah - it’s the last thing preventing me from replacing all native widgets with my own

Been three weeks since posting the issue though, and haven’t heard anything back so far.

A setting would be great.

As to Athom’s own widget. It

  • Ignores non-dimmable lights
  • Calculates an overall average dim level
  • Applies changes by the overall dim level relatively to the underlying dimmable lights.

Had a further look at it and many sites block iframing via X-Frame-Options. Will make the widget better at saying if that’s the case. Can’t solve it if they block though.

That’s a security thing… to stop malicious actors from framing legitimate web sites within their own page. As the number of threats grow, so is it likely the blocking of iframes is likely to increase.

1.1.1 is in testing:

  • Charts: two values on one chart can share one scale (One scale for both), so they compare directly, such as the temperature inside and out. Contributed by Stefan Schweiger on GitHub.
  • Light Controls and Lights by Room: a room’s brightness counts only its dimmable lights that are on. Lights that only switch on and off counted as 100 %, so one light at 30 % with three switches on showed 83 %. A new Room brightness setting shows their average or the brightest one.
  • Web Page: a site that doesn’t allow being shown inside another page now says so, instead of leaving the widget blank.

This app rocks!

I would be nice to have widget for bar charts also, similar to the built-in energy bar charts. I guess input could be utility meters which resets every week, month, year. In this way the math is left out in widget, and focus can be on visual design. To have it compact, it can be restricted to (last) week, (last) month and (last) year.

The chart widget has a bar display option. Anything you’re missing from that in specific?

Will check later

Hi Thomas,

Can I also rename individual devices in the Lights by Room widget?

With the current chart widget:

  1. the bars display the absolute value in stead of delta
  2. several bars are displayed for a single timeperiod (4 bars for single day)

I guess that with a utility counter that resets on a yearly basis, the job could be done. But math should be integrated as well, which can make it too complex maybe.

No. They’re named after the room (and takes the rooms icon). When would you want to rename them?

So you want values to be “bucketed” in some interval (say minute, hour, month) and to show those buckets as individual bars. And with an option to show delta compared to the previous bucket.or even month on month, yeah on year, etc?
