@Sven_Bakker please send a diagnostic report

Here is the diagnostic report: e2adb585-18d5-4491-acfa-f3b698842e7d

@Sven_Bakker is the number you use in homey part of that group and also a admin?

Yes, my own phonenumber is part of the group and in Homey. It always worked and arround 21 august is stopped working.

@Sven_Bakker can you try a different group?

Hi Martijn, just made a new group, same issue and problems:

aef6962d-536d-47b9-9fa0-1f32b8bdb986

@Sven_Bakker remove the ?mode=ems_copy_t

For one phone number, it shows the correct value, but for all the others it only displays a placeholder.

I generated a report where the last two captured messages from a WhatsApp group illustrate this:

  • In example 1, the correct phone number is displayed.

  • In example 2, only the placeholder is shown.

@Michael_Fritzsche sorry can you elaborate what you mean? I get the feeling I miss some context

Some time ago, there was the problem that the sender’s phone number was replaced by an ID that did not correspond to their actual phone number. As a temporary solution, I created a flow that used the newly transmitted number (at least the one being passed along) for authorization of all participants in an action.

However, for the past few days one of my sons has been unable to trigger it, and I noticed that his number is now being transmitted correctly again. For all the others, though, this new “phone number” is still being sent.

@Michael_Fritzsche yes, so there have been some updates to the app but as we already figured at that point it was not fully working yet.
I see the library does have updates for these LID’s so will check if i can make a new update which hopefully resolves it and returns numbers again instead of LID’s

@martijnpoppen I deleted the “?mode=ems_copy_t”

But I do not receive any message in the group.

@Sven_Bakker is advanced chat privacy enabled in the group?

@Pierre_Toelen this is a English topic

@Patrick_Van_Deursen repair is not always working for this app
Best thing do to is remove the device from homey and add it again

Fix your flows with [HOW-TO][Pro][Cloud] - Tool to FIX (advanced) flows after removing and re-adding devices

Since the last update, I’ve been having nothing but problems with WhatsApp.

Messages from others are barely getting through. I really have to open WhatsApp to see if I’ve received any messages.

Maybe roll out a new update to fix this.

@Pierre_Toelen

Feel free to create a pull request :slight_smile:

But maybe you can explain what you mean. It’s not really clear what the issue is. Messages in homey ? In the WhatsApp app on your phone? Are we talking about notifications? Or do you mean the messages are not there?

Also please remove your Dutch post
