Hello

As for me, new test this morning :

  • Vision security beta 2.0.9
  • Homey 5.0.0
  • ZM1602 EU-5

The parameters are OK : I tried siren only / strobe only / siren+strobe and both are OK ! I also tried the ā€œalarm auto stopā€ parameters and it is OK ! I donā€™t know why it is working for me, not for @Heronimus ?

My only remaining ā€œproblemā€ : in the action cards, I dont manage to understand the difference between ā€œturn siren onā€ / ā€œActiverā€ (the same with ā€œturn siren offā€ / ā€œDĆ©sactiverā€).

Yeah I saw those too and i think itā€™s a duplicate. Iā€™m not sure about that. Do they have the same behaviour?

Regarding the duplicate action card: That one was Patrickā€™s worked out version on my idea to make different alarm-actions possible: Only strobe or with siren. It must be somewhere in this forum. Nevertheless it never worked for me.

Verified that iā€™m using version 2.0.9
Set Siren Strobe mode to Strobe only.
Waited 5 minutes.
Still siren with strobe.

@kietu : Maybe we have different firmware / hardware versions?
Firmware version: 24

Speaking for myself, i think a working battery meter is more important than the strobe / siren option.

Hello

As soon as I change one parameter (siren strobe mode OR alarm auto stop), the red light is blinking 1 time, to confirm that the device has received the new parameter.

My informations are slightly different from yours (but I have ZM1602 EU-5, and you have ZM1601 model) :
Firmware version: 15
Subversion : 10
Firmware Version 1: 5

Regarding this function, I would suggest to have an action card to MODIFY the parameters in flows ? One action card SETALARMMODE(option) and another SETDURATION(option) ?

Iā€™m not a specialist in Homey (only 1 year of usage), but I think it would be more ā€œlogicalā€

I have the idea to make the device blink when my house is under surveillance, and to make it blink AND ring when an alarm has been detected. But it is not urgent at all !!! Priority to make parameters work for all devices (ZM1602 and ZM1601 !) :slight_smile:

Crap, I replaced my Vision Security Siren with the Aeotec Siren as I did not expect the app to be compatible with version 5 ever again. Anyone living in the Netherlands that still want to have a way discounted siren let me know :slight_smile:

In ā€˜Patricks versionā€™ i did see the red light blinking 1 time at a change. In the new version i donā€™t get this confirmation. Which make me think this is the reason for the problem; the change is not received.

I took over this app. So if you read a few posts back youā€™ll see I made an updated version for V5 in the test version of the app (Vision Security App for Homey | Homey)

If you want to be past of the test group, you can install the test variant and see if it works for you :+1:

Just installed v2.0.9 and i can confirm that my garage door sensors work like a charm!

Thanks @martijnpoppen ! You did a great job by fixing this in such a short time, without having a Vision device!

I hope the users will donate to keep up the good work!

@ all, please consider a donation when the final is there. The man doesnā€™t even have a Vision device by himself. So he does it all for us and the community.

Feedback for @MartijnPoppen : YES!!! :slight_smile: The setting Strobe only / Siren Strobe works now. Battery status (fixed in 2.0.10) doesnā€™t work yet. Same issue when I remove the device, and add it again.
