This app is developed on the Python SDK which is not supported on HP19.
I have managed to update mobile app A better route planner (ABRP) with data from homey Skoda app.
So I am able to use ABRP with updated car battery, position, odometer and range without monthly fee (ABRP in Android Auto or Apple Carplay need prenumeration).

Can you share a diagnostics report after that error appears?
Sorry. It was my password!
Fixed! Thanks!
Has anyone experience connection problems the last two days? The connection between the Homey app and Myskoda has been broken, trying to repair it with a new login only gives an error saying wrong login credentials, I’ve verified three times that I’m using the correct login, also logged out and in again in the MySkoda app, and tried login in to vw skodaid with same result.
That’s unfortunate! I’ve not experienced any problems. Have you restarted the app?
Yes, several times. But for some reason or another the connection fixed it self during the night. It’s working again now ![]()
Hi Kenny,
You replied to my diagnostics report regarding the issue with updating my password.
When I try to reauthenticate using the test version, it doesn’t work. However, if I remove the car and add it again, it works correctly.
Thanks for your great work !
Stephan
Thanks Kenny for creating this app!
I’m using it quite a bit for reading SOC. But I have not managed to change the charge limit of the car when it is parked at my house and plugged in.
Has anybody managed to change the charge limit through a flow?
Tech specs:
- Skoda Enyaq 80 (2023)
- Easee Easee Charge Max charger
- Homey Pro (Early 2023)
Not yet, but on the verge of to. So I’ll keep you posted via this thread.
Hi, I’ve installed the app on Homey Pro, no problem. Now I’ve installed it on Homey Self Hosted Server. It’s a Mac mini M4 with the latest native software and latest release Homey SHS.
I’m getting a crash of the app everytime with this error. Any one has the same problem or solution?

Yes, with “Set charge limit to xxx%”. Maybe battery care mode (limit 80%) can’t be overruled?
UPDATE: Set charge limit to 100% is working even if battery care mode is activated.
Enyaq 85x, Easee Home, Homey 2023
Strange, as I have tinkered with battery care mode as well. I DO see a notification of the changed charge limit in the Skoda app when I run my flow, but the actual limit in the app does not change.
Could the settings of the charging location have anything to do with this? It seems the setting of my Home charging location (whether set at 80% or 100%) overrules any changing that I do from the Homey.
Do you have a Charging location set up?
#confused
No location.
But I have noticed that it can take up to 3-5 minutes before the mobile app is updated.
I can’t install the app from the app store onto my Honey Pro 2019. Already tried restarting Homey. Installing other apps works just fine. Any suggestions what this could be?
Hello,
Yes, it is not compatible with it. The app needs the python apps sdk, which is only compatible with Homey 2023 or later.
There is nothing I can do about this, I have no interest in maintaining the skoda apis, as there are known to be changing quite a lot.
You can only ask homey to bring python sdk support to older models too, but that’s outside my control.
Kind regards
Yesterday I deleted my home location from the car and app. After that it started working.
So it seems a charging location blocks the limit to be adjusted.
Thanks!
Skoda is opening their API it seems. That sounds like good news, but will this change anything for developers and users of this app for Homey?
@KennyMoens thanks for all your effort in developing and maintaining this app! If I can help get you in touch with the Škoda team to explore making the app official and migrating it to their new open APIs, feel free to reach out to partners@athom.com and we’ll be in touch.
