[APP][Pro] Power by the Hour: Insights per hour, day, month and year

I have a question. I have two sets of solar panels, so two growatt/zonnepanelen devices in Homey. I can a power by the hour device for both of them individually, but is it possible as well to add them together in a single PBTH device?

Sorry If this question is allready asked. But I couldn’t find it in the 1421 :roll_eyes:posts.
If I look at my m3 Gas I see this (2-3-2023)
88,31 m3 (m3 vorige maand)
77,81 m3 (m3 deze maand)

I presume that 77 m3 this is the estimation of this months m3 gas. Or isn’t it? I always thought it is the gas consumed untill today

As far as I know that is the sum of usage this month until now.
It has nothing to do with predicting anything

Well it is not possible that I’ve used 77 m3 gas allready in 2 days

m3 this month should indicate the m3 used since the start of this month. If you have set your start date at 0101 that means it is the m3 since yesterday. 77,81m3 looks like a lot for just 2 days…

yes. You can do one of two things:

  1. Use the <GROUP> app to create a combined virtual device, and then add that virtual device to Homey
  2. Add a virtual PBTH summarizer, and send the combined kWh value to it via a flow, e.g. every 10seconds.

Hi Gruijter,

m3 vorige dag is 2,35
m3 deze dag is 1,1 m3
m3deze maand is 77.83 m3

starting date is 0101
???

Hi,

I do not understand option 1 very well. What app do you mean? Virtual devices app? PBTH app?

restarted the app: same issue
restarted homey: same issue
PHBT is using a homewizard P1 meter

And I don’t understand option 2 either I think. How do I make a virtual PBTH summarizer?

The forum removed the formatting. For option 1 you need this Homey app: <GROUP>

For option 2 add a PBTH summarizer, and select the Virtual via flow device.

Hi @Gruijter,

This morning i noticed the value of ‘kWh deze dag’ to be incorrect. It was 5.38 which was the value of yesterday’. After restarting the app, it was corrected to the right value.

Looking in Insights i noticed the value to be incorrect since 5:30 this morning

At that time my homey is restarted automatically. I do that once a week.

Do you have any clue on how to prevent thisfrom happening?

Regards

I did a restart of the app because the values were the day before plus today’s values

I hope these screen shots are clear for you. i you need more let me know.

the second device (on the HomeWizard P1 dongel) looks like this works ok now.

it looks like PBTH didnt detect the source reset to 0 kWh. Need to dig into that. But working on another project at the moment, so pls have patience.

Have been trying this app to summarise daily energy transfer to a myEnergie Eddi device, it seemed to work perfectly yesterday but today has done what some recent posters have found, didn’t reset to 0kWh. When adding a PBTH device and it finds Eddi, there doesn’t seem to be a way to select which if Eddi’s measures are used

PBTH uses meter_power by default. For a small number of apps that do not have meter_power I added reading some special capabilities.

I found the source code for Eddi. It does have a meter_power capability (kWh), so that is used by PBTH. I dont know what Eddi uses meter_power for. Can you clarify (e.g. with screenshots of the meter names/values, and a screenshot of Insights of the last 24hrs)?

I do see in the source code that the Eddi app has a button to reset the kWh. When using that button PBTH will be lost for sure. Have you reset something in the Eddi app maybe?

"meter_power",

Solar Power Generated today is from the SolarPV app and comes from my SolarEdge Inverter, Energy Sent to hot water today is the kWh this day from Eddi Transfer, a PBTH device. Something very odd has happened today in that it is obviously not possible for more energy to be sent to my hot water storage than was generated. The myEnergie system reports that 6.4 kWh was sent

That is insights from the myenergie Homey app, and something is wrong with it, so I will contact it’s developer
