Hey Nannes. I’m in the same boat as you are. I don’t have the modbus-remote. My research tells me that I have the «Gen 2» Heru 100T EC. Do I just have to buy the remote, or do I nees anyhing else? What Heru dobyou have?
I have the Heru 100T EC myself. When I moved in to the house it did not have the modbus menu on the remote. I bought a new remote with modbus options, paired it with the unit and then I could enable the modbus on the unit itself.
Just make sure you check that the board on the unit has terminals for connecting the wires

Do you still have the gen 2 board, or did you upgrade that one later?
I’m not sure what gen board I have in the unit actually. I just checked that it had the modbus terminals and I bought the remote that included the modbus menu. So the only thing I’ve “upgraded” is the remote
Alright. From what I learned; gen 2 has the black antenna, while gen 3 has a white one.
Anyways, love your work here. I will most likely turn back for some questions when receiving the new remote.
Another user reported that it was working without the IQC Touch, he just had to enable the modbus through the mobile app for it to work
