Cant find the app
Oh, sorry. Yes, I’ve taken over the existing app; Nissan Leaf. Current implementation is pre-2019 but I’m working changing and adding support for 2019+ models as well.
Just want to show my interest - I’m interested!
Next version. Nissan is deprecating their old API (eg Leaf older than 2019).
This uses Nissan Connect: Nissan Connect | Homey
Hopefully the Leaf that uses carwings can get online again with the help of opencarwings (https://opencarwings.viaaq.eu). For anyone interested here is a link to current status: GitHub - developerfromjokela/nissan-leaf-tcu: Nissan LEAF TCU research & reverse-engineering · GitHub
Interesting indeed! I’ll take a look, and perhaps @enodis can get involved as well. No promises though - we do need someone with a compatible car to help test ![]()
If we can get the car to work with Opencarwings, im happy to test it out. I have a ZE1 from 2018 with a 4G TCU.
How do you know that your TCU is equiped with 4G?
Nice - I’ve put AI to work on this one. Hope to have something test-worthy within the week. Your car is up and running on OpenCarwings and/or connected?
My leaf ze1 from 2018 is available for testing as well.
Its specified on the TCU, its behind the glove box (right side of the car).
Havent got the TCU up and running yet. Still havent figured out the encryption on the sms that wake the car up and trigger it to push data to the opencarwings server yet. ![]()
