Please dont delete.
Please use the flowcard create diagnostic first and send it to me, it will give me important info about the location of the icons. I need to know if there is a bug placing them in customicons instead of deviceicons.
Sorry, too late. I have already recreated all the devices.
Hey I just read this, I have the same devices without icon issue.
I thought it was because they just were a bunch of older AVD’s and did not want to change icons so it was no issue to me.
Which card is that, Arie. Can’t find it.
- Screenshot of AVD’s with and without icon options:
It should be only old avds, those ild avds, you cannot change.
Update to test peter?
Its an App actioncard, not device actioncard.
@Arie_J_Godschalk
Is this ment to be like this?
It is on a Samsung Tab S7 Plus
This is the device setting page.
Hi Arie, I really need a flowcard to set all numberfields on a device to a value in one operation. Now I need 24 cards to reset all values to zero.
Found it Arie. I just sent a diag of an old AVD, “1. Homey’s Mood”.
Yes, they’re old(er) avds.
Hey peeps, monday ill work on all support, right now i got some time of with the wive and kids.
@Peter_Kawa , yeah, thats an Old AVD. Technicly i could save the icon, but it would require me putting in sourcecode that could potentionally create this kind of issues, “only” to save a few AVDs from a few tester.
But then that risky code would stay in it and go live, rwulting possibly in these exact same situation: icons missing.
I choose before going live to not save those old avds, especially since recovering the flows is quite easy.
The other issues ill fix.
No problem for me, Arie. I get your point. Maybe I’ll replace those old avd’s one day.
Have nice weekend!
Yeah, i really enjoy it that way
Nah, kidding, it should be resolved in the current Develop version.
And yeah, that just took more than 2 hours of my live again to solve…
Grrrrrr, i finally found out whhy Device Settings/Repair, for every App i created, has a very very very small view in tablets: As soons as i call
Homey.setTitle()
appareantly, the view gets a large as the title is…
This off course is a bug i suppose, and will report it to Athom.
Glad i finally figured it out, i allready spend a lott of time trying to resolve it (for hoop and others).
Just created a support ticket:
Here the images, so everyone understands why this goes wrong.

Homey.setTitle(‘Apparaat pictogram’);

Homey.setTitle(‘______________________________ Apparaat pictogram ______________________________’);

No Homey.setTitle.
Resolved in develop.
Hey Kai,
I have added an All fields* to every Set card.
So set Expression shows the All *** for all types it has configured:
And every other card has one added for its type:
Its in live, so are all other resolved bugs and improvements from today!
Arie, I have a feature I don’t get yet:
When I use this ‘Then’ card
I can choose to select this. What does “Execute flowcards (When)” mean?
Very irritating, someone still using Homey Mobile App
Answer: It means that after you set the value, it will execute flowcards (When) for changes.
So if you have a flow with an actioncard If *** is Changed/Set, it will trigger it.
Hahaha, it’s just that I’m often on a smartphone for forum visits.
Funny fact, I’ve had no graphical issues with your apps at all (Samsung S9+ and app settings @ developer page)
So, okay, when I don’t alter the default “nothing else”,
the WHEN flowcard
“if [capability] is set/changed”
will never trigger?
Okay, odd choice to make “nothing else” the default value.
… while “nothing else” is default, I never did set it to “Execute flowcards (when)” with every card.
Well, now I need a card which sets all my “set [capability] to text number” action cards “nothing else” option to “Execute flowcards…”
Its just, before i made the option, Using flowcards to set a value would never trigger a If * Set/Changed flowcard.
Please note that AVD fields can be set without cards: through other apps or Homey Web/Mobile App.
This would trigger the flowcards also.
But you give me an very very good idea to try another nice Homey “hack”!
be back later
