@cloudpulse_01 Eventually, but there are other priorities still. The app feels al lot more stable since the last few updates, but it needs to be more stable before I start working on a widget. It is on the list though ![]()
No worries, I just wanted to know if it’s planned
Thank you for your work
First of all, thank you for this app !
It’s very promising !
Then about the « now playing », can we have a way to get the image of the content playing ? Like a URL or something ?
I created a request
If some time you feel like conditioning that, it could be useful ! ![]()
Yeah i can see them on all my Apple device’s.

@BasMilius it seems that you have made some improvements on the memory handling, seems way better. ![]()
@Adam_Olsson I can’t see anything suspicious in the diagnostics report… Can you try looking them up with the commands in [APP][Pro] Apple TV & HomePod - #213 by BasMilius
You can try both airplay and companion-link
@Daniel_Fille I did a few things, yes! How much does the app now use with how many devices?
59mb at the moment, with 4 Devices!
66.98 MB with 2x aTV’s and 5 HomePods.
Magnificent !
Thank you very much !
Now Google TTS works through the google services app for homey to say anything I want through my HomePod mini’s
Any chance you could add a feature to play any “soundboard” (app) audio file/sound on a Homepod (mini) like the “Google Chromecast” app for Homey ?
I have a bunch of sound Inplay on different occasions/situations on my google mini’s.
So local and independent from the internet my HomePod mini would play the “Red Alert”
sound. Or a lullaby song from Tom & Jerry saved local on my Homey Pro through the soundboard app.
By the way. Still investigating the “sudden “autoplay” on my HomePod mini’s.
Didn’t have the time to thoroughly investigate more so until now/meanwhile I just unplugged them from power. But expect more information about this issue later but asap.
@DoctorBazinga Great! How is memory usage with Google TTS? Audio playback can take a lot of memory, so I’m curious…
For support for playing soundboard sounds I created a new Github task, should be doable.
And yes, still curious about the sudden autoplays… Hope you find something!
Unfortunately there is no pin appearing in the tv when I try to add the apple tv as a device.
@fiction74 Please send a diagnostics report so that I can see if anything goes wrong. Also make sure that AirPlay access is set to Everyone on the same network, note, not the “Everyone” option, but the “Everyone on the same network” option.
The airplay setting was the problem. Had it set to everyone in this home instead of in the same network. Thanks!
I’m not sure what you’re asking about the memory usage of Google TTS.
Its not huge and by the way I “ugraded” my Homey Pro 23 with a 8GB memory raspberry Pi compute module 4.
@DoctorBazinga I meant the memory usage of this app when playing Google TTS audio files
Because my app has to decode it and convert it to a different audio format (PCM).
