After months of reverse engineering and looking through the codebase of pyatv, I’m confident enough that my version of the Apple TV and HomePod app is ready. Description Take full control of your Apple TV and HomePod devices directly from Homey. Use remote commands to navigate, play, pause, adjust volume, and switch between apps or user accounts. Monitor what’s playing in real-time with detailed now playing information including track title, artist, album, and the currently active app. Integrate your Apple devices into Homey flows to create automations that enhance your entertainment experience. Set the mood when movie night begins, pause playback when the doorbell rings, or wake your Apple TV when you arrive home. All communication happens locally on your network for fast, reliable control. Pairing an Apple TV This can be done with one PIN and those credentials are saved for future use. It survives Homey and Apple TV reboots. Pairing a HomePod (Mini) This can be done without a PIN, which is called transient pairing. The device is added and is paired everytime the Homey app needs to connect. Please let me know if something goes wrong or is broken. [image] Apple TV & HomePod | Homey Control your Apple devices from your Homey.

With the new Version on my side still no pairing possible? I have these HomePod mini Models: 1x MJ2C3D/A 2x MY5H2D/A 1x MY5G2D/A i am not able to pair these models. The App finds the HomePods, but after I click one of them it get stucked in loading. After I think 5-6 Minutes no device is paired and I see my 4 HomePods again where I can choose?

Hi Bas, great work, thanks a lot! Would it be possible to make a card like in the Sonos app? I like to play a Soundboard sound (like when my doorbell rings). [Schermafbeelding 2026-01-04 om 14.33.38]

@Joep_Vullings First I want to get the app stable enough, so this isn’t on the todo list anytime soon. That said, I have a proof of concept for this, but that is not ready yet

@Jonathan_Draper Good to hear! How is the connection of those specific HomePods after pairing?

@Chris86 Hmm, weird. Can you share a diagnostics report on the newest version please? From your last diagnostics report I can see that your HomePods reject the pairing session quite early in the process, the first request to be more specific. There is no information shared at that point… Are your HomePods configured in Apples Home-app at all?

Yep all HomePods Are in the Home App in different rooms and they Are working in the Home App? here is the Report: a712d12d-5e75-4c63-b93b-8fed7aacdabb

With last version now it works!!! Thanks! Fantastic app

@Chris86 Still the same issue as far as I can see. I’ve just published v1.0.20, that update just adds some more logging during that process. It won’t work for you, but can you please try it and send another report? I’ll get some more information then
