Maybe I should clarify the scope a bit better: we’re focused on fixing the existing Android TV integration—specifically, functionality that isn’t working properly. We’re not looking to build an entirely new app, like one based on Matter, for example

Automating actions based on playback status is not possible in the Android tv app. It used to be possible in the chromecast app, but that hasn’t been stable for some time now and doesn’t work for all the apps on an android tv. So, if it is in your scope to add that to the android tv app or perhaps combine the functionality of both apps, that would be amazing
