Did anyone manage to add their android ip cam as onvif?
In my case the app onvif finds it, then I enter username and ww. Then it will be placed between my devices, but it cannot be reached. Username and ww are correct.
Smartphone with Android IP cam imtegrated with Homey without issues.
But, is there any way to show live video stream when I open the device on Homey app? Noe its just showimg still pictures.
Homey does not support live video streams (AFAIK because of limitation in Homey hardware).
Hi,
Hopefully someone is able to help me. I have the IP webcam working on my old huawei. Iām able to see everything in a browser so it looks like everyhting is working. No i tried to add it to Homey as a device but if i test the connection i recive the message " Error:Could not find that PairSession" What would be the way to fix this?
You are switching between apps during the pairing session. The Homey app cant handle that. Try pairing it in the web app if you need to copy/paste data during pairing.
Hi,
Sorry if this topic has been raised already, I have basically zero experience with android and I am trying to run IP webcam on Lenovo tablet using front camera motion detection but at the same time I am trying to use it for my HA dashboard, the dashboard runs in fully kiosk browser with front camera used for option detection (as fully kios functionality), then IP webcam is not able to use same camera for its motion detection⦠any suggestion if that can be solved? TIA, J.
Buy a second tablet so you donāt experience any conflicts.
that is not a solution, but a work around. Pretty costly.
Just a heads up to the active users of this app. I have asked Athom to pull this app from the app store. I have been looking to transfer this app to another developer for quite some time (more than a year) but also recent efforts to find a new maintainer have been unsuccessful.
As I have decided to quit as Homey app developer this seems to be the only proper solution to fully get rid of my involvement with Homey and Athom. If in the future another developer still wants to continu development (or an interested user want to side load the app) the code will remain available on Github here: GitHub - jghaanstra/android.ipwebcam: Homey app to control IP Webcam on Android
I assume existing user will be able to continu to use the app in itās current state.
