Any alternative for Home assistants helpers?

Hi,

I decided to give homey a shot when the alternative for self hosting got available.

I really like the advanced flow but Im struggling a bit with with redoing my automations in homey.

In home assistant I have in the dashboard a time input variable that is for setting the time the car heater should start.

I know there is variables for text and number but I can’t find any user friendly solution for selecting a time.

The idé is to have it on a dashboard that I could present on a tablet so my wife can easily set the timer.

Any one got any suggestions?

I might be able to build an app for it, I’m also interested in such a feature

When i read it again i also think so😉. I did time, date and weather with node red.

You can use this in the Homey dashboard as a web widget also

Not actually on a dashboard, but Homey does offer “Alarms” You can find them under More > Alarms.

Yeah, but it’s not really helping with the Wife approval factor.

It’s a bit odd that there isn’t a simple way to set a time from the dashboard to flows. I mean you have variables for text, number and boolean. Why not time and date?

Or add the possibility to add alarms to the dashboard.

I have solved it for the moment with a number variable and a script, so you type 06.20 and the script converts it to 06:20 String that can be used it flows.
