I am retired from a leading global weighing and measurement company. I spent my career in various roles, ending with application and technical support for industrial weighing instrumentation in communication and automation applications. I enjoyed my work so much I let it spill into my home where I like to automate as much as I like (and can afford!).

I used a SmartThings hub for 6 years and reached it’s limit and mine. I migrated to Homey Pro 2023 in October 2024 and have no regrets. I am here in this forum to learn.

I enjoy science fiction movies, a variety of music, Columbus Blue Jackets ice hockey and hiking forest trails barefoot. I have to find escape somehow.
