How is it possible to install the Rfxcom app on HP 23?
Anyone managed to do that?
Or anyone know if there is any update on the way?
I’d like to help anyone who landed in this topic because he/she would like to control RF 433 Mhz or 868 Mhz devices with Homey 2023 or later, just as I did. The app mentioned in this thread does not work, but you don’t need it. You can use the RFXCOM (http://rfxcom.com) transceivers within Homey through MQTT. Install a MQTT broker in your home, install the MQTT client on Homey and install the MQTT firmware on any RFXCOM transceiver. If you don’t want to install sofware, just ask the RFXCOM transceiver to be delivered with the MQTT firmware installed.
In my case I wanted to control an Orcon MVS 15R ventilation system by duplicating the RF-15 remote control installed in the bathroom. By pressing the auto button on the remote control, the RFX-868 from RFXCOM learned the signals. I can now control the fan speed through Homey automations.
