15 OCTOBER 2026: Kia/Hyundai are blocking users like HA and Homey on their servers for Europe. Re-pairing won’t help. Fix is available in the test version. The community app has been replaced by two official apps for Kia and Hyundai that works on Homey Pro and Homey Cloud. [image] Hyundai | Homey The future is now! [image] Kia | Homey Movement that inspires WARNING: This app can drain your 12V battery if you refresh the car status too often! Due to license restrictions the number of server requests and car status updates is limited by Kia/Hyundai. You will be locked out from using their service if you overuse it. Use at own risk! Supported cars: Kia UVO or Kia Connect Hyundai Bluelink Status: 12V Battery charge % Engine on/off Doors closed and locked Defrost on/off A/C on/off Odometer Speed Range Tire pressure alarm Battery alarm GPS location Distance from home Extra status for EV vehicles: EV Battery charge % Charge targets Charging on/off Control (Note: some commands only work when the engine is off): Doors lock/unlock A/C on/off Defrost on/off Target temperature Target Charge Charger on/off Send destination to car’s navigation How to update the car status in Homey: Homey will get an update of the car status within 10 minutes after it is parked. You can also request a status update from the Homey app, or from a flow. 24/7 car status updates: You can set a forced status update interval in the advanced device settings. This will however drain the 12V battery of your car when the car is parked (engine turned off). When the 12V battery is empty, you will need your emergency key to open the door, and use a battery jumper to get going again! Send a destination to the car’s navigation Via a flow you can send a new destination to the navigation system. You can use a tag or free text, or [lat, lon] format, e.g. Amsterdam Stopera Parking Downingstreet 10, london 38.8976805,-77.0387185

Kia has modified the API Hyundai has probably done the same. Unfortunately, I think we’ll have to wait until then and hope Doekse can do something for us

I ended up quickly modding something around GitHub - Hyundai-Kia-Connect/hyundai_kia_connect_api: This is a Kia UVO and Hyundai Bluelink written in python. It is primary consumed by home assistant. If you are looking for a home assistant Kia / Hyundai implementation please look here: https://github.com/Hyundai-Kia-Connect/kia_uvo. Much of this base code came from reading bluelinky and contributions to the kia_uvo home assistant project. with mqtt to have support for charging my Ioniq5. If anyone is interested, I can share more details. It requires MQTT instance and a place to run simple Python script. Then you can use MQTT Client to both set and get car properties (checked only with Ioniq5 for my needs)

Let’s hope they understand that user/owners wants to use smart home systems to keep their power bill in check.

I’d say Hyundai doesn’t really care about its EV users. Every “solution” they’ve offered so far for issues like the 12V battery, ICCU, or Bluelink services basically boils down to: “buy the new facelift model, it’s fixed there” — until you find out a few years later that it’s not. :frowning:

Error: Pairing failed: @EuropeController.loginEuropeController.login: [400] Bad Request on [POST] https://prd.eu-ccapi.hyundai.com:8080/api/v1/user/signin - {“errId”:“97afe321-990d-47ef-ab5b-d104a5a9b656”,“errCode”:“4003”,“errMsg”:“Invalid values”} why is it not connecting?

[image] [APP][Pro][Official] Kia and Hyundai Apps I’m currently in touch with Hyundai / KIA to discuss what official API access could look like. It’s clear that the world of home automation is still quite new to them, and they’re exploring what the best approach would be. In an ideal scenario (which I’m rooting for) they’ll release officially supported APIs so not only we, but the entire smart home community can benefit. That said, these are large organizations with many layers to work through, so things might take some time.

if one is interested the VERY BASIC and half tested stuff is: GitHub - pigmej/mqtt-hyundai-kia: A simple wrapper for Hyundai/Kia to MQTT it works for me and allows me to schedule charging and do all the operations that I needed. There is no “cool” interface for everything, but all should work. All should be possible to set via MQTT (just use some MQTT explorer to play with), and then use the MQTT Client in Homey to do some automations.

I can’t login anymore. My credentials do work, because if I select another region, then I receive an authentication error. The error I receive now is pairing failed bad request on POST. Error message is invalid values. I have checked my password by login out and back in with the Bluelink App and have changed my PIN code, but still doesn’t work [error]

Hi @Guido_Groeneweg , did you check if other users are having the same problem? Maybe the posts above from the past weeks?
