The image flow token is a nice idea, will look at that also.
just had the idea of grabbing the album art url from the source of the homey interface and it seems to work(ish) for now 
EDIT : scratch that, after a few album test the url changed.

From what I can see, It’s a timeout on the HomePod Mini. I’ve just published a new test version (1.0.6) which should handle that better, but no promises yet.
I’m running one Apple TV and two HomePod Mini’s myself, without any major problems. Sometimes after an update I need to restart the app, but that’s about it.
The last report is also a timeout, please also try the just released v1.0.6

I have Home Pods 2nd gen and Home Pods mini.
With the new update I managed to add my Home Pod minis but not Home Pod 2nd gen

1 HomePod mini is added (although is still appears in the overview of the to be added HomePods)
2 HomePod mini’s not able to Add
1 HomePod 1gen not able to add
all are on the same Wifi network

I did note that since the last releases 1.0.6 / 1.0.7 the app randomly crashes.

I have tried reinstalling the app, readding the apple tv etc.
Not sure why this is happening though, but if you could look into that, that would be wonderful.

Stupid me, uninstalled the app to force the update. After reinstalling I am not able to add the single HomePod mini that I was able to install earlier (as an exception to the 2 others). Looks like it was a lucky shot?
Interestingly enough, the app sees all the HomePods, including the 1gen HomePod.
@Nils_Kijkuit I think so, with that update I’ve added more verbose logging, so could you make another diagnostics report? Or did the HomePod Mini not even show up in the pairing device list?

Newsflash. I have just been able to add all my HomePod Mini’s. Did not change much. It took a number of attempts. The HomePod 1gen is a still refusing to play nice.
I also noticed that now only the non-paired HomePods showed (in earlier versions, also the already paired HomePods were shown).
Great! From your diagnostics report I could see that it was still a timeout issue, so maybe the HomePods all responded in time. I’ve increased the default, that will be available in the next version I’ll publish later today.
And yes, already paired devices are not shown in the pairing list anymore
except for the HomePod 1gen. Do you expect this one to work at all?
I do notice brief disconnections (warning sign on the device tile in the device overview).
Nice addition with cover art btw! The only thing I do not understand is why there are 2 volume options (slider and the volume up/down button). But I guess that is the nature of the little beast.
