@Doekse I have been following this tread due to personal intrests for a while. I was wondering what the actual state on ajax integration is.
I understand that there are some pending questions around the api(-design), but I am wondering if you could explain if that effectively means the entire api/documentation as a whole unusable or if there are also aspects that could already be used.
I mean, even a partial integration to some extent is better than nothing in my own opinion. If there’s some possibility that information about the api could be shared (nda?) I’d even be willing to offer a second pair of eyes.
Strange, I have used nodered with the SIA to MQTT function and send the MQTT to the broker, both running on my NAS, and then use the MQTT client in homey which works just fine.
But of course it would be much easier if I can use your app to have ajax directly in Homey, but I can’t get this to work at all, whatever I do the connection to ‘meldkamer’ in the ajax app stays disconnected.
Only differences are of course different IP address, objectnumber is 0000 instead of 000, and encryption is on, however if I set the IP to my homey, change the object to 000 and disable the encryption, I can’t get the connection to work. If I revert back the connection to my nas works immediately again.
The SIA DC09 doesn’t support encryption yet.
The setting below must be set as:
Monitoring station ping interval: 1 minute
Connect on demand: On
Encryption: Off
If this doesn’t work then check the portnumber in the ajax app and homey app are the same. If this is also correct then check if the ajax hub ip can communicate directly to homey.
yeah that’s what I already had, I have been messing around for over an hour and no luck, but I disconnected and reconnected the hub completely to give it one more try, and now it works
Strange because I did not have to do that if I changed the port or IP address before, but as long as it works I’m happy, thanks for the app!
This morning the connection was lost after a firmware update of homey, it did not reconnect by itself, and I had to restart the app many times before it would reconnect again, is it normal behaviour that you have to restart the app after a homey restart?
One more question, I know that if the ajax doorbell is pressed, it is also sending a message to the SIA protocol, is this also something you can implement in the app?
