# Zooz water sensor ZSE42 won’t connect

I installed Zooz app and sensor is listed as supported. Brand new sensor and I’ve tried 2 new batteries in it. It recognizes it and goes onto step 2 but just times out after a few minutes. Any suggestions on getting this to work. thanks

Even though the Homey Pro (early 2023, 2026, mini) is supposed to support NWI ( **N** etwork **W** ide **I** nclusion), it’s best to perform the pairing process in close proximity if you’re having issues.  
If that doesn’t help, try restarting the Homey.

Note: For NWI to work properly, there must be enough routers/repeaters installed.
