Erweiterung mit 800/900MHz: Das klingt gut.  
Jetzt hoffen wir, dass Homey / Zigbee USB Stick X aktualisiert werden kann.

> Zigbee 4.0 selbst bleibt beim bekannten 2,4-GHz-Band, öffnet sich aber gleichzeitig für Sub-GHz-Varianten im europäischen 800-MHz-Bereich und im nordamerikanischen 900-MHz-Spektrum. Damit sind längere Reichweiten und eine bessere Versorgung in schwierigen Umgebungen drin, etwa in Gebäuden mit viel Beton oder größeren Arealen. Die Alliance betont, dass Zigbee 4.0 rückwärtskompatibel zu Zigbee 3.0 und Smart Energy bleibt. Die vorhandene Basis soll also weiterlaufen, während neue Geräte zusätzliche Fähigkeiten mitbringen.
