# Xioami Gateway needed for Aqara motion sensor p1 and Homey bridge?

Hi, I would like to control my yeelights via a motion sensor e.q. Aqara P1.  
My question is: Will I need an additional xiaomi Gatway for the aqara Devices or will they work directly with my homey bridge ?

The P1 motion sensor is supported by the [Aqara app](https://homey.app/a/com.xiaomi-mi/), so you don’t need an additional gateway for it.
