How do i connect a Xiaomi Smart hub 2 to Homey Pro 2023. It id matter compertibl

You can connect it via the “Xiaomi Mi Home” app. You need to add the gateway in the app settings (More→Settings→Xiaomi Mi Home)

Afaik, xiaomi only accept matter lights and plugs via wifi (no thread yet) to its ecosystem but does not expose its devices via matter to other ecosystems.

But why does it need to go through Matter? There is the Xiaomi Mi Home app which should work:

Hi there, I try both options, MAC and Password, but don’t know what the Password is supposed be?

And if I try the other option of IP and Token (Which I have), it just times out. Would you be able to share which steps? Thank you!
