# Xiaomi human body or occupancy sensor

Hi,

Who knows the difference between the human body sensor and the occupancy sensor listed in the xiaomi/aqara app supported devices?  
What are the related variables which you can use in a flow?

The Human Body Sensor also measure luminance.

you can not use this as an input to a flow, correct? Only the motion & battery input.

You can also trigger on change in lumiance.

Usable as a day/night sensor… or lights on/off sensor… or open/closed closet sensor…

The Lumince is updated when motion is detected. so not very suited as a day and night sensor.
