The best way is to request it with homey.app/support
But chances of adding the device are low I expect.

IR alternative: buy a Broadlink RM4 (mini) or the like, or a Switchbot hub.
These Homey supported devices can learn the original IR signals and send them.

### But why not install the [Denon app](https://homey.app/a/com.moz.denon/), as the amp has onboard wifi & LAN

Thx for answers, i did install the denon app now in homey. But the only thing i can do is switching on/off and volume. Selecting source etc is not available.
If i add the device as i did earlier, all buttons are available buf non if them works.

At the app store app page, this is mentioned about your model

> ![1000037711](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/2/4/249de0eeb35c238022027142605ccb6e60db9876.jpeg)

I found this at the github repository (as linked to at the app store page):

> Custom commands allow you to specify custom data to send to your Denon device. These are generally uppercase short words like: MVUP, MVDOWN, SIDVD or Z2ON. You can look up commands that your device supports by doing a websearch for ‘(your\_device\_series e.g. X1200W) denon telnet protocol’. Denon provides PDF files for a lot of devices. Inside you will find the commands supported by your device. Note that the Denon AVR app will automatically terminate your commands with the required `<CR>`
