# Would a Eufy E340 Doorbell flow through HomeKit correctly? Anyone know?

The E340 is one of Homey’s recommended doorbell, but the article doesn’t say anything about HomeKit compatibility.

Ah I see.  
I’m not sure why Athom should mention the device is/isn’t Homekit compatible?  
Eufy should.

This shows Homekit can _control_ Homey’s devices. A doorbell can’t be controlled by Homey:

I didn’t say they should have? I just wondered if anyone knew.

There are plenty of other devices that aren’t HomeKit compatible according to the MFR that Homey makes possible through its gateway, So I thought it might be worth asking for the Doorbells Hoomey are recommending

Have you made a purchase and tried it out yet? I’m a bit keen on one of those doorbells myself.
