# Why are new features limited to newer Homey Pro models?

I tried to follow this thread [Home Assistant Integration for Homey - Now Available! 🎉](https://community.homey.app/t/home-assistant-integration-for-homey-now-available/148786) with my Early 2019 but I failed already in step 1 “create a new api-key”.

Gemini explained me the possibility using a bearer token instead but this one changes when you log out and in again.

Nothing for my Early 2019.
