# Which Thread version has Ikea Dirigera currently?

Anyone with Dirigera who can confirm which version it has for Thread?
I’m running my Thread nettwork on Apple TV, and it’s still on 1.3, seems “old fashioned” 😄

Only last november it should’ve been updated to v1.3 according to a search

What features from Matter 1.4 and 1.5 are you missing?
Also, Homey doesn’t even have full 1.3 support. Just saying 🤷🏼♂️

There are no features I am missing from a technical standpoint.
On paper, Apple recently updated tvOS 26 to support Thread 1.4.
This resolves the issue where different “Border Routers” (from e.g. Apple, Google, and Amazon) create separate networks. In theory, they now finally communicate within one large mesh network.
I tested with the Dirigera hub a month ago, and at that time it created its own mesh network.
I tested again early this morning, and it no longer created its own network but instead used the same one that Apple provides. It seems that Ikea now have 1.4?

Okay so you meant Thread, not Matter? Those are two distinct protocols.

Functionwise, I don’t have any fancy devices yet.
