Strange I don’t have a any trouble ordering and I’m in the Netherlands . Nevertheless as the review stated . A 4 hour normal sun charge should suffice for 2 to 3 weeks . There are few places on earth where that doesn’t happens outside Never had a power low notice since I switched to the V2 with solar on a few locations ---

I can’t order from the UK either. As soon as I select an option other than US/Canada the Add to cart option disables. I’ve been trying to get one of those since they came out. ---

Hi danone I’m thinking to use this with my Homey Pro and fibaro controlled external blinds, i.e., monitor the wind and/or wind gusts to determine if the fibaro blind switch should bring in the blinds (folding arm). Looks like this will work ok based on the cards you listed? Have you done anything similar with home automation / Homey Pro? ---

For such a use case I wouldn’t recommend the Netatmo Weather Station. The problem is that it only updates the weather data every 10 minutes: ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/e/e/ee784b9b0dbe327333addb5bbcb7caef6f7ef8ee.png) In my opinion, you need to look for a weather station with live update, but max. an update interval of a few seconds. ---

Thanks for the feedback, yes that’s a very good point. The blinds could well be ripped off the wall before the updated wind days even comes through if only every 10mins. I’ll look further into the Tempest weather station in that case. Cheers, Gray. ---

This is the comparison of the gust strength between Netatmo (10 minute interval) and the Tempest Weatherflow weather station (ca. 1 minute interval): ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/f/d/fdaf45509d8aea07ae79fb9a71138c95c4a1b490.png) I’m not completely sure, but I think that the intervals were shorter for both weather stations in the past, e.g. 5 minutes for the Netatmo weather station. I guess that all weather stations that communicate via API have a certain interval of several seconds, but probably more like minutes. Perhaps you need to look for a weather station or a wind sensor that transmits the data locally. As far as I know, this is the case with the BleBox wind sensor. But please find out the details yourself. ---

I’ve given up on Homey. Ecowitt could be a better choice than Netatmo, it updates every minute I think. And a nice app for Homey by @Adrian_Rockall ---

Thanks danone, yes I see a very extensive update log etc by @Adrian_Rockall for the gateway app for ecowitt. I think I’ll go that path actually, the Tempest looks to be twice the price and I’m not so sure I need anything much more than say the WS90 7-in-1 or similar. Cheers for comments. ---
