# Watering/irrigation device for Homekit via Homey?

Hi,  
I’m looking for irrigation controller for Homey that will work with Apple Homekit as a sprinkler. In my experience typical stuff like switches or lights works very good in Homekit via Homey but more complexed like thermostat, not so much. that’s why I’m worried.  
Any tips?

There’s not support in the Homeykit app for sprinklers (although I would think that sprinklers are basically on/off devices, so even if they aren’t directly supported they may still work as switches in Homekit).

However, Home(y)kit support for _any_ devices begins with regular Homey support for the device itself.

LinkTap works with Homey and it has simple on / off support so might work via homeykit.  
It’s a great product even standalone and I have no problem recommending it.

You can use a relay switch (Z-Wave, Zigbee, Wifi) and a solenoid valve.

What do you mean exactly with „sprinkler“?  
What exactly do you want to realize?

Because a relay switch with a solenoid valve is nothing else than e.g. Eve Aqua.
