Verisure app in France

I got new Verisure system a few weeks ago.
I would like to use the Verisure app on my Homey Pro 2023.

Till now, I was not successful …

I would be very pleased to get in touch with somebody who was succesful in France …

Regards

Obviously nobody knows what that means. If you want help, explain what you did, what did or didn’t work, if you got any errors, and if so, what they were.

I create a dedicated user in Verisure

I use the credentials of this user in the verisure app (on Homey) and I get this message :’Error:Invalid username/password/authentication method combination’

I am pretty sure about these credentials.

The issue is probably caused by the fact I should have desactivated the two factors identification.

But it seems not possible to do this on the Verisure software.

It’s why I’m interested to get in touch with an Homey user using the Verisure app, in France, as it seems that the localization could be of some importance …

Did you read the instructions of the app?

Follow these steps to restore the connection:

  1. Log in to Verisure MyPages (web) with your username and password. Enter the verification code when you receive it.
  2. Go to Account and Subscription > Account > Login credentials > Disable 2-step verification
  3. Follow the instructions to disable 2-step verification.

Indeed, I’ve read these instructions.

It’s Ok for the item 1

But , for item 2, I can’t find anything looking like ‘Account and Subscription > Account > Login credentials > Disable 2-step verification’

That’s why I need some help …

And you’re using the web app, right?

Also, generally speaking, 2FA settings are usually located around the same place where you can change your password, or other security-related settings.

I’m using the web app.

Even with a new user with administrator status, I do not find ani option to change the 2FA setting …

I can only change the password !

I think that there are some difference depending of the country.

That’s why I’d like to get in touch with a French user, if any !

Perhaps it’s quicker to contact Verisure customer support?

I’ll going to try …

I had the same problem :slightly_smiling_face:, so I don’t think it depends on the country, but that you haven’t given the new user all rights to be able to remove 2FA? The user must have full admin rights.
If you go to your own normal admin user, you will see that the option to remove 2FA is there.
And you don’t need to use a PC - it’s fine to use Chrome on your mobile, with Page for computer activated. At least on Android.
But then one can ask the question of how secure it is to have a user with all admin rights without 2FA activated.

My special user has admin rights.
When I connect with my own credentials, I do not see this 2FA option …
I’ve look at it in the users section. Is it the right place to search ?

I understand you were successful connecting homey app with your Verisure system. Right ?

@GD91 Yes I did connect it successfully :slightly_smiling_face:
I’ve taken some screenshots from my mobile. This is how it looks like in Android Chrome, when you have Deskop site enabled.

Thank you for these explanations.
In fact, I have no access to mypages …
The Verisure WebApp, I can access is not the same !
I tried to access to mypages, but my credentials are rejected …

I asked Verisure customer service and they say that it is impossible (to cancel 2FA).

So, there are different Verisure implementations depending of the country.

I am very disapointed !!

Strange, since we are logging in to the same site.

Did you try to log in at this site? MyPages

I just logged in with french language and did find the 2FA option. The site looks exactly the same in Norwegian, English and French.

Did you try to ask for a new password?

I’ve juste tried to ask for a new password.
I did not receive the verification code by SMS.
I have verified : email adress and phone number are right …

Same here in Spain
Not possible to disable the 2FA …
user and password are correct but still receive that the credentials are wrong.
the Homey user is administrator
