Hello Spooder,

2 Pro 2019’s owner here.

First of all, you mix up system updates / bug fixes with _new functionality without cost_.
Firmware is still getting updated for he Pro 2016-2019 model range (9 years!):

For the Pro 2019 _Dashboard_ is available, but only as a one time purchase.
Of course they hope we keep on buying new Homeys…

The new _Group_ function is ~~a joke~~ veeery minimal & limited imho, just use the [\< group \> app](https://community.homey.app/t/3168)

Energy dongle is just “a product”. I use Homewizard P1 dongle, great device for way less $

_Energy tab_ is nice, but it’s community example [Power by the Hour app](https://community.homey.app/t/20535) is way nicer, smarter and more useful (dynamic price driven flows f.e.).

Yeah that’s a bit of bad luck imho. Like with so many products, new models or versions arrive every once in a while.
When is the right time to buy is the question…

But, I have to tell you, from what I’ve read throughout the years, Pro 2023 might be newer, but not better. It’s still heavily in development (lots of issues with Matter/zigbee/bluetooth/433MHz) imho.

I still have zero reasons to buy a Pro 2023 or mini.
Back then I bought the Advanced flow option by the way, one of the best parts of Homey.

Did you never buy a smartphone…
