I have two IKEA motion sensors and the second one is currently updating the firmware through the Homey app. It is currently at 53% and has been running for over 5 hours. Is this normal? Is there any way to speed it up?

Maybe the sensor is going to sleep and you need to wake it periodically via its button?

Yeah, that’s at least why I put it in proximity of Homey and am making sure there is some movement every now and then

To speed it up. Connect it to a ikea dirigera hub and it will update fast

In that case I just need patience as I don’t have an Ikea Dirigera hub

This procedure worked for me… [Matter OTA Updates - #27 by Rammstein](https://community.homey.app/t/matter-ota-updates/156911/27)

Of course i had Myggbett devices…but maybe this helps you when you do the same steps instead of the contact signal you activate the motion sensor till the end.
