# Update: Location awarness suddenly doesn’t work anymore

Update (25-10-2025): the apple maps app seems to involved in the issue, after opening the app on all iPhone, they all work again with the location feature on Homey

Since yesterday (16-10-2025) the home/away function acts strange. My phone comes home and suddenly i’m away according homey. When I set my account manual to home, it does work, but could suddenly after 15 minutes say that i’m away. Does anyone know what could cause it, i’ve been playing with a new shelly1gen4 during that time it started.
