# Unwanted crosstalk between the Aqara Smart Plug (EU) and the Sonoff SNZB-01P

That’s no crosstalk, but it’s a ‘service’ called _binding_, manufacturers thought you’d like.

As example: imagine you buy a brand Y zigbee remote and a brand Y zigbee light; how nice it is when the light can be controlled by the remote only by powering up the light. Just like that.

Of course they expect it to be limited to their own devices, but apparently both Aqara and Sonoff use the same zigbee binding ID →   
which, combined with Homey as their zigbee controller, can cause the effect you noticed.

I expect it’s possible to undo the binding at the developer site:
