Hello!

I’ve been trying to set up a flow to play a playlist on more than one of my Sonos speakers at once, but when I try to use the “Join the group of …” card no devices show up in the list and searching for them also results in nothing. This is using the web app.

If I use iOS app I am able to find the devices fine using the “Join the group of …” card, but nothing happens when I trigger the flow. The error message is “Cannot read property ‘id’ of undefined”.

I’ve tried removing the Sonos app from Homey and reinstalling it, but it doesn’t help.

Has anyone experienced this? Found a fix?

Playing a playlist from an individual speaker works fine.

Thanks in advance!

No problem here, I used the URL: `https://my.homey.app/flows`
After running the flow the speaker is added to the group.

Huh! That is weird, I’m doing the exact same thing as you. Problem is that my list of devices is empty, even though I have five of them added to my Homey.

So this is what happens when I do that:

Thanks for your replies everyone! Unfortunately none of your suggestions did the trick. I’ve sent through a support request to Athom for them to look at. Hopefully they can help me. Thanks again for taking your time with this! Cheers!

Did this ever get fixed. I have this issue now with my Homey Pro2023
In trying to create an advanced flow to group one player with another, it does not show me the correct list. I have 4 Sonos players (Kitchen Connect, Garage Connect, Move, Living room playbar). When I go to group my Move in with what my Kitchen Connect is playing, it does not show the Kitchen Connect as a valid player in the drop down. BUT it does include the Move itself. See Pic

In another permutation I did manage to achieve the reverse - it only showed the Kitchen and Garage Connect’s, but not the Move or Playbar.

CLEARLY A BUG - there is no valid logic to this.

My speakers come up when I use “join the group of”, but it just doesn’t work. I want to press an Ikea bilresa button and then group all speakers and set them to a specific volume. insetead of the fiddly going into the sonos app every time I want to listen to music.

It would be nice if the sonos app recognized the sonos app groups. It would of course be nice if the Spotify app could recognize the sonos groups, but that seems a bit too much to ask.

Im fed up with sonos, but too heavily invested in units to switch to any other alternativ

Gemini suggesten adding “leave the group” first and then delays to not overload sonos, but this has not worked.

I assume you are using the official (cloud based) Sonos app by Athom. You might want to try if grouping works with the [community Sonos app for Homey](https://homey.app/en-nl/app/nl.xiut.sonoslocal/Sonos-(LocalAPI)/). It has the added benefit that it provides more functionality and works locally.

How have your speakers been set up in Sonos’ own mobile app, when you open the Settings menu and check the Your system section?

In my case I see the same Sonos-systems (sets of speakers in a room) over there as are included in the grouping flowcard in Homey:
