These can choke your mesh network because of flooding it with updates.
Make sure to limit the max. number of event & status updates per minute.

I removed it from the network, and that helped with stability. But I already had issues with not enough messages coming in.

In my previous home I was using Philips Hue motion sensors with the bridge and it never failed. In my new home I’m still using Philips Hue motion sensors but this time without the bridge and I still found them working properly all the time.

They’re working fine for me. But they have a slight delay compared to devices that are using Homey as direct hub. Which is logical, since the device sends the signal to the Hue Bridge and only then is it send from the bridge to Homey.

I use the sensors from Philips Hue. They are quite pricey but battery is very decent. Also a disclosure: i don’t use flows in Homey with them. It’s easier and more reliable to do that in the Hue app itself.

I do have automations for them in Homey, but just to notify me when Battery goes beneath a certain threshold so I can replace them.

Another for Hue motion sensor via the Hue bridge works amazing.

Aqara P1 via Aqara bridge also works great.

I got the Zemismart presense sensor directly to Homey and is Not reliable would not recommend.

I think I would try next Thirdreality Motion R1 or maybe Presense R2.
