Hi everyone.
I posted this to athom, but they suggested I post here.

Id like to know if its possible to trigger alarms and/or push notifications if there have been no changes from a particular device over a set timeframe.

eg, my temp sensors should report every few minutes. Id like to get an alarm if the last time they reported was more than 3 hours ago.
Reason for this, is twice I have just had them stop for a few days and didnt realise. A simple reset fixed it, but I would have preferred to know sooner.

Thanks

Here’s an importable flow to check on sensor (or any device) last activity:

Sometimes, you’ll discover a sensor or other device doesn’t report it’s status or value anymore, but it does NOT notify you of being offline… Well, this flow checks the, most recent update time of your sensors. You can run the flow every day, twice a day, just add or remove a time triggercard. The ‘inactive time’ can be edited as well (24hrs as default) and you can choose to not send notifications when all sensors did report inside the ‘inactive time…
