I have tried using the “set up” process via Homey, but I only get time out error. So I used the FH hub instead. Going into hub, reset to factory settings. Start a new set up thru the FH hub and Bluetooth on my phone. In the end you can choose how you want the FH charge how it’s going to communicate with the FH hub. You can choose either WiFi or via zigbee.(or nothing) If you choose wifi, you will get a overview of WiFi networks to choose from. If you choose zigbee (direct to hub) and on next page in set up you press “start”. Charger and hub starting “pairing” and are looking for each other thru zigbee. Now, if you disconnect FH hub, in this process you should have the chance to make Homey connect to the charger instead. I’m not able to do so, even the Homey is two foot away from charger. If I connect the FH hub again this is pairing via zigbee when I start the process over again. Must be something with the FH app in Homey that doesn’t “understand” the pairing signal from charger. This is the best explanation I can give.

Hei,

Thanks for the explanation, but unfortunatly o do not have the FH hub. I bought the charge cause on paper it was the best choice, and usually zigbee devices are easy to pair with anything. If there is an issue with the addon, it would be even better to get the bluetooth message one should send. Maybe i can figure out something myself.

I have Future Home hub in two homes, and more than 50 attached pucks/unites in each home. The units are of various brands as HeatIt, Namron, Futurehome, Shelby, Qubino, etc, both Zigbee and Z-wave.

I want to move over to Homey Pro hub. It would be a TERRIBLE job if I have to open all wall boxes, find the hidden puck, and unpair/reset and re-pair each of them physically, PARTICULARLY if I have to disconnect and reconnect due to the pairing must be done close to the hub, with preliminary wiring.

Is it possible by any means to “transfer" all pairings over to the Homey Hub, without physical intervention at 50+ places around in the property?

Unfortunately not, all devices need to be removed from the Futurehome hub and paired directly with Homey. That’s simply how the technical integration works.

When you delete a device from Futurehome, it should automatically enter pairing mode again. The best approach is to remove and re-add the devices one by one.

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with my **Futurehome Charge** connected to **Homey Pro** via Zigbee.

Here’s my setup:

- **Car:** VW ID.4

- **Charger:** Futurehome Charge

- **Hub:** Homey Pro

- **Network:** Zigbee mesh with several IKEA smart plugs (signal seems strong)

- **Futurehome Hub:** Tried both connected and disconnected — no difference

When I press **Start** in the **Charge app** in Homey, the charging session starts, but immediately stops again. The Homey app shows the message:

> _“Futurehome stopped charging.”_

When I test communication through Homey developer tools, the device responds instantly to pings, so the connection seems stable.

Has anyone experienced the same issue, or have suggestions for what might be wrong? Could this be a firmware issue or something with how the integration handles start/stop commands?

Any ideas or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance 🙏

Noone have any ideas? I had it working for a couple of days, but had an electrician here doing some work, he turned off the main switch, and when he turned it on again, Homey can’t seem to connect to the Charge anymore. Is there any way to re-connect the Zigbee connection? Last time I deleted the Charge app and re-installed it on the Homey. Takes a long time, and I had to make all the flows from start again. There has to be a better way? …

I have various other zigbee networks such as futurehome, Hue lighting, Somfy screens, Tuya for sensors and smoke detectors etc. These have their own hubs.

Can I add futurehome thermostats and futurehome relays directly to homey pro without a futurehome hub? I dont have access to futurehome app/ hub anymore.

Can I get all other zigbee devices on homey?

Do I have to add all devices again? Do I lose all automations in Hue and Tuya?

I have the same issue as you on this one.
I have tried to reset the charger from the Futurehome app. I still can’t get the Charge Setup to connect and start Zigbee paring in Homey.
I have Homey Bridge.

If I try to re connect it to the Futurehome hub it works fine and responds to the bluetooth command triggering the Zigbee pairing. The difference is that with Futurehome I have to enter a pin-code, but Homey doesn’t ask for any pin.

Any proposals on how this can be solved?

Nope, no chance.

I have to let Tibber manage the charger through the car for it to be smart.

Ok, thanks. I still struggling with this. Tried several things, like using the futurehome setup to put it in pairing mode but it only discovers futurehome hub not the homey bridge. Even if I put it I paining mode from the futurehome app and then unplug det futurehome hub it can’t be found.

Read somewhere in here that it could probably work but no success so far..

It took me a lot of attempts before I managed to do it. But have it extremely close to the charger. I put my homey pro outside straight under the charger when it worked for me after probably 10 attempts

I’ve tried about 10-20 times yesterday and today. How did you put the charger into pairing mode?
I had the Homey Bridge placed on top of the charger. When it pairs with the futurehome hub it is located in the room next door to the garage.

I’m not sure if that the bluetooth connection problem or timeout I get when using Charge Setup can be one of the reasons. Tried with both Android and Iphone, but I guess it is the Home Bridge that is sending that pairing signal?
The difference from futurehome to homey is that on futurehome I’m asked for a password to connect to the charger via bluetooth.

A bit frustrating..

Pretty sure I never used charge setup. As soon as the pairing mode is started from futurehome hub, go back into the homey and use “Charge”, not the setup. That never worked for me either.

As soon as the pairing command was sent I also disconnected my futurhome hub so it didn’t have time to connect meanwhile

Hope this helps

I’ve tried that multiple times, both with stopping after selecting zegbee/futurehome hub as connection type and by pressing start on the screen after that and ofc. disconnecting the power on fututehome charge.

So still not connected, seems to be more or less impossible..
