# TP-Link Deco M9 Plus as Zigbee repeater

Has any one used the TP-Link Deco M9 Plus as a Zigbee repeater?  
Can it bee used to build a Zigbee Mesh?

I think the deco m9 uses it’s own zigbee network and i don’t think it can extend homeys zigbee network.

I ready about to link deco m9 that it can be user as a zigbee extender with smartphone solutions. Is there anti experience on this item?  
I am thinking about buying a tp link wifi mesh solutions.

From what I’m reading, it’s only a Zigbee _controller_, not a Zigbee _device_. So it can’t act as a repeater.
