# The Ir doesn't work

I understand that the Ir stopped working after the update, I just got the homey and one of the main things for me was to be able to connect a lot of ir devices (remotes) to it. Does anyone know when it´s fixed? / Simon

I don’t know where you found that it stopped after an update,
I updated to the latest update 2.2.0 rc7 and still can use IR from the devices I added pre version 2.0.

well I can´t add devices using ir and found lots of people that are having the exact same issue and many people says that it stopped working after the update…
