Hi! I have searched this community, but cant find a solution.

Question/Feature request: I have different temp sensors that only is used parts of the year, same goes for other devices only used only in the summertime.

Could it be a way to implement a function to temporarily disable/hide these devices? I don’t want to delete them and I don’t want them to show up in the device list showing a red exclamation mark… Could there be implemented like a “sleep” function that only disables the sensor/device without needing to delete it?

Put them in another zone?

To my knowledge there’s no such thing.

Rmb has a good option.

What I use is virtual switches. These are added as condition to related flows. When switch is off, flows don’t run.
They still get triggered, but get stopped by that condition.

It’s not 100% fixed imho;

Just tested: “hidden” doesn’t mean “inactive (in flows)”. The hidden devices still can control flows / flows can control these devices.

The only thing what changes: it’s not shown as device in the zone.
I think it should be, maybe as option, inactive / silenced as well.

I see. But the solution is good for me, I just wanted to hide them in the device list 🙂
