Hi,

I’m importing a climate entity from Home Assistant into Homey using
this app (v1.2.3). The entity is a spa/jacuzzi (SpaNET integration)
whose actual valid range in Home Assistant is 5°C to 41°C — I’ve
confirmed this works fine directly in the Home Assistant dashboard.

However, when controlling the same device through Homey, I can’t set
the target temperature above 35°C. I checked the device’s Advanced
Settings in Homey and only found Energy-related options (idle/on
power usage) — no min/max temperature setting.

Is the 35°C cap hardcoded in the app for the target\_temperature
capability? Is there a way to have it respect the min\_temp/max\_temp
reported by the Home Assistant entity instead?

Thanks for the great app!

AFAIK it isn’t a hardcoded cap in Homey. The Tado app has target temperature for hot water with up to 65º

The app developer can define this themselves in capability options in driver.compose.json

v 1.2.3 is the official one from Athom. I think they just use the default capability then.

The Community App is using the min/max/step atrributes from the climate entity (I think 😄)

Thanks everyone for the help!

Switching from the official Athom “Home Assistant” app to the
“Home Assistant Community App” (this one) solved it — the
target\_temperature range now correctly respects the min/max
attributes from the climate entity (5-41°C instead of being
capped at 35°C).

Marking this as resolved.
