# Tado TRV - Does app need Tado bridge?

Hi folks - Question for those using the Tado TRVs. Can these run without the need for the Tado bridge?

I’m looking at installing these over and above my nest system to open and close valves in rooms that don’t see much use. I understand that they won’t be able to sync with nest.
