# Starting a flow with a Trust wall switch not working

1st: For how long do you push? My AWST don’t send a signal which Homey recognises when quickly tapping it, I have to press for at least a second!

2nd: (when having flow issues) I always append notification cards, like push, or cards from a messaging app, like one from [CallMeBot](https://community.homey.app/t/app-pro-whatsapp-signal-telegram-facebook-messenger/48374);  
this to rule out issues with non-responding devices:

(Funny: it has _ **no** _ capabilities, but it can trigger flows anyhow? Right…)
