# \[Soved\] Trådfri gateway suddenly stopped working

Hi.

I’ve had the Trådfri gateway app installed for a few days now, and it’s been working great. Last night it stopped working, so I checked the config. I can discover the IP address, but if I click “Authenticate” it responds with the following message: “Error: The gateway did not respond in time.”

Anyone know how to fix this? I’ve tried restarting the app, the Homey and the Trådfri gateway.

Turns out I needed to reset my Trådfri gateway. Didn’t lose any data from it. Just reset, remove the PSK from the app, authenticate and back in business.
