# Somfy TaHoma - actual position of blinds not available via windowcoverings\_set?

Hi,

I’m trying to read the actual position of my Somfy blinds via HomeyScript and store them in Logic variables. I’ve activated the local API with a token, but `windowcoverings_set` always returns 0, regardless of the actual position.

The Statusprotokoll in the Somfy TaHoma app shows `core:Memorized1PositionState` and `core:ClosureState`, but these don’t seem to be mapped to `windowcoverings_set` in Homey.

Is there any way to read the actual current position of the blinds via HomeyScript or the Homey API?

Find the device [here](https://tools.developer.homey.app/tools/devices) and look at the data stored for it. If you can’t find the current position anywhere, the app simply doesn’t provide that information.

Thx for the quick respose, I wasn’t aware of the developer environment yet.

And very pitty, the Information is not available even they are in the original Somfy App.
